VC-250 Software- If you purchased your VC-250 dash cam prior to
6/6//2011 your Player software is outdated. Please download the new version on the left which is v 1.0.8.4

It is suggested that you periodically check back for updated software. Even some units shipped after 6/6/2011 will not have the latest release.
 
This newest version adds Spanish as a Language, shows the g-force as a gyro type display and a few other improvements.


When you back up the video as an AVI file on the VC-250, the time, date, vehicle speed, and coordinates are on a separate .srt file. Copy both to a fold and download the VLC lan media player to play the files. VLC will automatically pick up the .srt file and include the embedded data. Windows media player will not. You have to enable subtitles. The best over all media player is and has been VLC lan. It will play almost any file.

We have provided the Owner’s Manual for download in PDF format as well as the Car Player software needed to format the Compact Flash Cards for your Video Copilot Dash Cam.

The file consists of 2 parts and you will have to download both to complete the install. The total size is around 21mb so we have split it into 2 downloads.
