The VC-128 with GPS Tracking
and playback from the camera itself!
The VC-128 is a single lens (4 mm lens 90 degree viewing angle) dash cam that records to a micro SD card (4gb card included free).
It supports up to 32gb Micro SD.
The unit features GPS tracking and vehicle speed when video is viewed with an internet connection on the computer using the player software. (Windows only)
The camera also comes with a remote control and AV cable that can be connected to a monitor that supports AVI RCA jack connection for playback directly from the camera without having to pull the card and plug it into the computer.
That's right. You can search the videos and actually play them back in your vehicle on a monitor (not provided) via the 15 foot AV cable (provided). .

The unit also has a G sensor that will flag an event and not overwrite the event until you delete it. G force is adjustable using the car player software included.
You can also manually flag an event and the camera will flag approximately 30 seconds before and 30 seconds after you press the force button for a total time of about 1 minute.
The unit does have time/date embedded in the video as well as audio which can be turned off via the remote or the car player software.

This unique product is a Video Camera and DVR all in one that is as easy to install as a GPS or Radar Detector. Just insert the CF card, plug it in to the cigarette outlet and the unit starts recording right out of the box.
This is a high quality product that requires no buttons to push to start recording like the cheap units you see for less money. Each unit has an internal cooling fan not found on cheaper units
The operating system is Linux for stability and reliability you can depend on.
It records video and sound (unless you disable) as soon as you turn on the ignition and records continuously on an 8gb Compact Flash (CF) card. Once the card is full it overwrites the oldest files so you have a continuous history of a minimum of 10 hours of events using the supplied 8gb CF card.
For longer recording capacity you can use up to a 32gb CF card.
It mounts on the windshield with a suction cup mount and plugs into your vehicle's cigarette light outlet. Or you can wire it direct to the fuse box is you prefer. It has video output that you can attach to a monitor (separate purchase) or you can connect it to your vehicles radio if it has a line in for video. Many aftermarket car stereos have this ability.
Our Model VC-100 uses a Sony CCD camera for the highest quality video.This product is of the highest quality and is not to be compared to lower end recorders.

This unit records to a Micro SD card that is NOT included and supports 1g-32 gb cards.
Some of our customers have expressed an interest in being able to playback the video immediately when needed. With this unit you can. It is a small LCD but you can view it immediately or plug it into a laptop with the supplied usb cable.
There is also a video input where you can actually plug in a second camera if you want however, it will only record one or the other and not both at the same time. And the external camera must provide it's own power.
For those wanting a camera in the back of the truck or vehicle, you can use an outdoor rated camera and run the wire to the camera. And if you use an external CCD camera the night video will be as good as the VC-100.
I will post both day and night video samples for this camera as well. The day video is very respectable in quality. It is a "CMOS lens so it will not be quite as good as the VC-100 which uses the CCD lens. But overall this is a very nice product that will provide years of service as well. The LCD stays on for approximately 30 sec. and turns off when in record mode.
It comes with both a visor clip mount and a glass suction mount. An AC power supply adapter for power other than cigarette lighter adapter is available for an additional $9.99
