This is a video clip of a new truck backed into while the driver was inside the truck stop. He damaged the left fender . After seeing what he did, he moved his truck to another parking spot also caught on the dash cam.You can see the vehicle jar as well as hear the impact.  He hits the truck at about 20 seconds into the video on the left side and you can hear the impact as well.

This video allowed him to call the local police, show the video, and go inside and confront the truck driver that hit the car. The driver denied it until, much to his surprise, the officer asked him if he would like to come out and view the video.

He saved his company thousands of dollars in the repair of the truck.

This is actual video from the VC-100 in my wife's car on the way to work. She was in a right turn lane yielding to oncoming traffic and gets rear ended by someone not paying attention. This video demonstrates the fact that the actual contact point of the two vehicles is not necessary to prove fault in an accident.

Having a dash cam shows what you were doing when you got hit. Now, it may actually prove that you were at fault, but should you not be then you have video evidence to back up your version of what happened.

This was not a serious accident, but it is a good idea of how even a fender bender looks.

Actual Video provided by a Professional Truck Driver. A perfect example of the need to have a dash cam. The savings in lawsuits far outweigh the minimal investment. And can save your job as well.

Night video of and idiot passing a trucker and running over the Orange cones on the road. He said it sounded like a shotgun went off when he hit the cones.
